In the JUNIOR Level the children have creative writing (they use computers to produce a magazine), dance, drama, musical theatre, percussion and visual arts every day. Students who play instruments are encouraged to come together during the elective period and sometimes during swim time to jam. We use a central theme or concept to inspire creativity in each of the arts disciplines. The focus is on process, as opposed to product (they put together a final presentation for family and friends that comes out of the process). 3-4 times a week there is an elective period that allows students to choose an area that they want to do more of - the students will get skills and technique training in each of the arts as well as use the theme to develop their imagination and creativity. They have a daily free swim at the Attleboro High School pool. The large group is divided into 6 smaller groups and the students rotate through the different arts - they come together for lunch, large group activities, and swim.
