Camp Description:
We are owned and operated by 27 Baptist churches which make up the Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Western Pennsylvania. We average about 480 campers through the summer months alone. We also hold various spring and fall retreats. Our camping program is staffed, for the most part, by teens and young adults from our local Baptist churches. Many of these young people attended SRBC as campers themselves growing up! Our counselors are usually college aged young people; and our suppor Our philosophy is to win and disciple people for Jesus Christ. We try to groom and teach our support staff so that when they are older, they can become counselors who are very familiar with SRBC’s goals and objectives. SRBC is fundamental in its beliefs, Bible centered in its activities, and evangelistic in outreach. We hold different activities through the spring and fall to try and bring in teens and adults who might not otherwise come to camp, but who will come to Each summer we have a different theme, and base our camping weeks around that theme. This year’s theme is II Corinthians 12:15, “Love all – Serve all in Christ”.
